Application Instructions

To apply for UCEAP, you will complete two applications: one application in MyUCR Abroad, and a second (similar) application for UCEAP in their UCEAP portal. We ask you to apply first with UCR so that our advisors can support you through the application process. By doing so, they learn more about you, better advise you, and more effectively advocate for you when UCEAP selects participants for a program.
1. Go to MyUCR Abroad or UCEAP website website to research your program options, under the Search Programs tab.
2. Complete the First Step To Learn Abroad Session. You need to complete the Assessment (link in the video) to receive credit for the session and to receive information on the next steps of the process.
3. Review the UCEAP Information Session Follow-up video.
4. After selecting a program, complete the UCEAP Application Workshop. You are required to complete prior to submitting your application.
